Refund Policy
Effective May 1, 2025
Digital goods — general principle
All products sold on Horme are digital goods (source code) delivered immediately upon purchase. Under French and European consumer law, the statutory right of withdrawal (14 days) does not apply to digital content once delivery has begun, provided the buyer has expressly consented to this before purchase. This consent is captured during the Lemon Squeezy checkout process.
However, Horme believes in the quality of every product listed on the marketplace. If a product does not match what was described on the product page, we will make it right.
Eligibility for a refund
A refund may be granted if all of the following conditions are met:
- The request is made within 14 days of the original purchase date.
- The product does not materially match what was described on the product page (features, stack, included documentation).
- You have contacted us first and given us the opportunity to resolve the issue.
Refunds are not issued for the following reasons:
- You changed your mind after purchasing.
- You purchased the wrong product by mistake.
- You lack the technical skills to use the product.
- The product works as described but does not meet your specific needs.
- More than 14 days have passed since the purchase.
How to request a refund
Send an email to benjamin.manguet@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund request — [product name]". Include the following:
- Your order number or the email address used for purchase.
- The name of the product.
- A clear description of how the product does not match its description.
We will respond within 3 business days.
Who processes the refund
Refunds are processed differently depending on whether the product was created by Horme or by a third-party seller.
Horme products
If the product is published directly by Horme (Benjamin Manguet), Horme will process the refund via Lemon Squeezy within 5 business days of approval. The refund will be returned to the original payment method.
Third-party seller products
If the product was published by an independent seller, Horme will act as intermediary. We will contact the seller on your behalf and coordinate the resolution. The seller is responsible for processing the refund. If the seller does not cooperate within a reasonable timeframe, Horme will step in to resolve the situation directly.
Processing time
Once a refund is approved, it is processed within 5 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5 to 10 business days for the amount to appear on your statement.
