Data we collect
Horme collects personal data in the following circumstances:
Purchase of a product
When you purchase a boilerplate, the transaction is processed by Lemon Squeezy (a Merchant of Record). Lemon Squeezy collects and processes your name, email address, billing address, and payment information on our behalf. Horme receives your email address and order details to fulfill the delivery and provide support. Please refer to Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your data.
Seller application form
When you submit a seller application via the form on /sell, we collect: first name, last name, email address, SIRET number, product name and description, technology stack, planned price range, GitHub or portfolio link, and how you heard about Horme. This data is processed by Formspree and sent to our inbox. It is used solely to evaluate your application and communicate with you about it. Formspree may store your submission in their system. Please refer to Formspree's Privacy Policy for details.
Contact by email
If you contact us directly by email, we collect the information you include in your message (name, email, and any details you provide). This information is used solely to respond to your request.
Cookies and tracking
Horme does not currently use any analytics tools, tracking cookies, or third-party advertising scripts. No cookies are set by this website beyond what is strictly necessary for the site to function.
Third-party services
Horme uses the following third-party services which may process your data:

Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contract performance — processing your purchase and delivering the product.
- Legitimate interest — evaluating seller applications and responding to support requests.
- Legal obligation — retaining transaction records as required by French accounting law.
Data retention
Purchase-related data is retained for 10 years as required by French accounting regulations. Seller application data is retained for 12 months if the application is unsuccessful, and for the duration of the commercial relationship if accepted. Contact emails are retained for as long as necessary to resolve the matter.

- Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
